Hey there – I’m Tammie.

When I tried to sit down and write an “about me” page, the above sentence was all I could churn out for the loooongest time. I think many of us, especially women, are trained to turn all our attention outward, focusing on others and just kind of fading into the background – tooting our own horn is not in our wheelhouse! Heck, my life and my skills seem totally normal and even a little bit boring, but (deep breath) here goes…

Hey there – I’m Tammie. I started out in programming for the government (the Department of Energy) then moved to the private sector where I contracted to big companies like Toyota and Dr. Pepper. For the last decade I have worked primarily with non-profits, building websites and creating digital content, helping people and businesses navigate their digital landscape. I don’t believe in “cookie cutter” and do my best to make every project enthusiastically unique. I love what I do and my happy place is figuring out how to bring webpages to life, through compelling content and beautiful imagery.

I’m a mama, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin. I have lived all over the US and spent a few years overseas. I went to boarding school and have made 100+ trips across the Atlantic. I am an introvert by nature, yet I love meeting people. My mom has a knack for befriending people in checkout lanes and becoming best friends with them by the time the groceries are bagged (pre-COVID she usually would get hugs!), so I learned from the best how to talk to people. I have never met a horse I was not able to ride. I jumped out of airplanes in college. My soulmate was a big ol’ mutt named Arthur who passed in 2017 and will forever be the best good boy ever. Once upon a time my husband and I blended cat families and had 7 of them. My daughter is my proudest accomplishment. I can drive a hay baler. I am a proud native of the state of Wyoming and now am a resident of the city of Wyoming (Ohio). I thought narwhals were made up animals until a few weeks ago. I currently have 2 rescue dogs and a formarly feral cat. I believe in love, that everyone deserves respect, and that the best way to bring about positive change is to model positivity every day (some days easier said than done!).

Nice to meet you!  🙂
